Even though the world appeared bleak in Israel's eyes during the time of Ezekiel, they could find hope in the promises of God. These promises are fulfilled in Jesus, which the prophet points toward. Today, we too, can hold on to hope found in Christ even when surrounded by the corruption that occurs in the world.
