Series: The Kings of the Earth

Assyria was an integral part of Israel's history. Various Assyrian kings led campaigns against the northern and southern kingdoms of Israel & Judah. God would use Assyria to conquer the northern kingdom of Israel. These were real kings from history, which further validates the Bible.  

*One minor correction: Sargon II was brother to, not son of, Shalmaneser V (EP).
