Series: The Kings of the Earth

While the rise and fall of the Grecian Empire took place between the Intertestamental Period, Daniel's prophecies about this period are clearly in reference to two hugely influential kings of Greece who impacted the Jews and set the stage for the coming of Jesus. Alexander the Great and Antiochus Epiphanes left deep marks on history and illustrate perfectly how earthly kings can be influential, but they rarely pursue the matters of God.
