Hosea is a prophet through whom God speaks the message, "Now you know how I feel." He has his prophet marry a harlot named Gomer who repeatedly cheats on him and who he is repeatedly commanded to take back. The message of the book teaches God's faithfulness despite man's unfaithfulness.
