We continue our discussion in the "Gospel of John".  Jesus continues to demonstrate His deity, which is the theme of John's Gospel (John 20:31).  He explains to the Jews, the unity that He has with God the Father.  No matter that Jesus has performed numerous miracles, which clearly shows His power, many choose not to believe in Him.  There are some today that claim that they would believe if only the Lord would appear.  This section of Scripture is a great passage to point out that people did not come to faith when Christ was alive.  Lastly, in chapter 11, the account of Lazarus will ultimately lead the Jewish leaders to putting Jesus to death on a cross.
