Parables were used in the Old & New Testaments to convey important truths & lessons to their audience. Ezekiel 17 talks about the forthcoming Babylonian captivity but not all is hopeless. The prophet offers a foreshadowing of hope at the end of the chapter. Towards the end of our morning study, we begin to discuss chapter 18. Chapter 18 focuses on individual responsibilities.
