God's incomprehensible capacity to forgive and express lovingkindness for the sinner is beautifully illustrated in the parables of Luke 15. Just as the prodigal son's father waited for and ran to his son, so God runs to us when we return to Him. What a beautiful source of comfort for the wayward sinner who seeks to come home. Truly, nobody is beyond God's capacity to be forgiven so long as they seek forgiveness.
