Every now and again, we need an encouraging reminder that the hymns we sing have lyrics that mean something, that are intended to be instructional in nature (Col. 3:16), and that benefit more than our ears. This sermon is intended to do that with arguably the most popular hymn ever written, "Amazing Grace".
