In many ways Ephesus shows who we are today - the kingdom of God fighting desparately against Satan's inroads via culture, false religion, and manmade credos. Ephesus shows in a positive sense what that successfully looks like; yet, Ephesus also shows us in a negative sense how in the midst of that fight we can lose touch with our first love.
