"Almost Persuaded"
Series: HymnsPhilip Bliss sat at the back of a church one Sunday night many years ago. The preacher was reading Acts 26:28 and made an unforgettable remark: “He who is almost persuaded is almost saved, but to be almost saved is to be entirely lost.” Bliss had the inspiration he needed to pen the famous hymn "Almost Persuaded", a song depicting the danger of almost being persuaded to Christianity without completing the transformation. Many are almost persuaded to become Christians, but few are fully persuaded.
