The New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34)

God spoke through Jeremiah the prophet to subjects under an old, broken, and insufficient covenant about a glorious time when a new covenant would be established (Jeremiah 31:31-34). This text is one of the most important in the entire Bible and pivotal to the plan of God’s redemption of lost souls. This prophecy is so important that God gave inspired commentaries on the passage in 2 Corinthians 3 and Hebrews 8-10.
