The Years Of Silence
In between the Old and New Testament there is a period of over four centuries where no inspired writings take place. It is a massive era of silence. We would be mistaken however to think that God was inactive during this period. God was active in predicting these years through His prophet Daniel, speaking of Alexander the Great and his four generals, the age of the Greeks, and the transition all the way to the New Testament. All of this set the stage for the fullness of times when Christ came to be crucified to save us from our sins.
