Harsh and Unkind Judgment

Jesus develops two important thoughts about judgment: 1) Judgment should not be hypercritical and also not hypocritical (Matthew 7:1-5); and 2) Judgment must be done righteously (John 7:24). Christians need to strike a balance in this area and perceive that there is one Judge and Lawgiver (James 4:10-13) and that mercy triumphs over judgment (James 2:13).
